Cosmopack 2023 – we returned to Bologna!

Hundreds of conversations, meetings, many submitted and received offers. Also thousands of observed product novelties and interesting trends, industry conferences, all within one amazing event. The Cosmoprof fair in Bologna is the largest event of this type in the cosmetics and packaging industry in Europe. Glass&Co had the opportunity to participate as exhibitors for the second time!

Every year, the Cosmoprof fair gathers about 250,000 visitors and 2,200 exhibitors who have the opportunity to participate in three perfectly complemented events: Cosmopack (cosmetic packaging), Cosmo Perfumery&Cosmetics and Cosmo Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon.

As Glass&Co, we participated in the Cosmopack format and our stand B47 in hall 18 was visited by hundreds of guests, including potential customers, regular customers, business partners and representatives of related industries. All these conversations allowed us to better understand the needs of the market and showed us which development path to choose for the coming years.

The fair is the only place where in few days, in one place, you can hold hundreds of business talks with potential or current customers, talk to current business partners and learn about the direction of development of the entire industry. The need to bring such events back to life after the pandemic break was already visible a year ago. The 2023 edition only confirmed the importance of this type of show.

Of course, natural products, free of potentially dangerous substances and vegan products dominated the cosmetics stands. The needs of cosmetics companies was mainly sustainability which was also a key offer of packaging manufacturers. Glass&Co’s offer included a new own product – a refill glass jar with the possibility of replacing the container with a cosmetic substance, bottles made of fishing nets, airless packaging with a refill function, or light weight glass bottles.

The most popular were innovative packaging with the function of replacing the container inside, as well as Turkish cosmetic/pharma pumps from the Sophia series, praised especially for its quality.

Cosmoprof 2023 was an exceptionally successful fair and we can’t wait for next year’s edition!
