Trends from Cosmoprof 2024
It's best to visit "Cosmoprof" in person, but if someone didn't have the opportunity this year, we invite you to a short summary of this event.
As always, cosmetic brands surprise with new products, beautiful designs and colors. However, the packaging industry is stable in terms of trends. First impression from the fair: a lot of glass, a lot of ecological solutions, a lot of packaging with a matte finish.
Glass: Cylindrical forms of glass packaging are currently the most popular, many of them have a matte finish.
In addition to colorless packaging, shades of brown, black and pastels are very popular.
ECO: There is a trend towards Refill packaging with replaceable thermoses, inserts and the like. When it comes to ECO materials, everything remains unchanged: recycled PCR, biodegradable materials. The topic of "oceanic" plastic also came up.
Shapes: classic cylindrical bottles and jars are the most popular, and streamlined shapes with maximally smoothed corners, shoulders and necks compete for the first place. Rectangular packaging also ranks high in trends.
Matte: Matte colors, shades, varnishes, paints and other coatings are also fashionable - on glass, PET and even on closures.
